Summary

The Property and Casualty Sales Market Leader is primarily responsible for driving the office's P&C revenue growth through new business and maintaining the current book of business. In this role, the Leader will be responsible for meeting his/her personal sales goals and enabling the local P&C sales team to meet the office's sales goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises approximately 1-10 employees (sales team members). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment. Must hold a valid Driver's License. Must obtain insurance designations as set forth by the organization’s education plan.
